OSHA to Discuss Development of Heat Injury and Illness Prevention Proposed Rule at Meeting on April 27
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced it will hold an online meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NACOSH) Heat Work Group on April 27, 2023 from 2 to 4pm ET.
The tentative meeting agenda includes proposed recommendations on potential elements of the Heat Injury and Illness Prevention rulemaking that is under development and on which SWACCA submitted comments back in January 2022. Various NACOSH work groups that focused on different aspects of heat injury and illness will make presentations at this upcoming NACOSH meeting.
The meeting is available in listen-only mode through WebEx. Individuals seeking to attend the virtual meeting must pre-register here. Once registered, individuals will receive a WebEx link for remote access to the meeting.
