DOL Announces Women in Construction Webinar on March 9, 2022
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Women's Bureau, Wage and Hour Department, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced a webinar entitled “Build a Brighter Future Engaging Women in Construction” on March 9, 2022.
The webinar features a panel discussion to: (1) learn about career opportunities for women in construction; (2) learn how to succeed as a woman in construction and other male dominated/majority male industries; (3) receive information on how job training programs can recruit and retain more women; (4) get information about apprenticeship programs and opportunities; and (5) learn about the rights, protections, and the resources available to workers.
The webinar will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 12pm to 1:30pm ET. Those interested in participating in the meeting must pre-register through Eventbrite here.
