WHD Develops New Resource to Provide Information Regarding the Davis-Bacon Act and Its Applicability to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law
In light of the recent passage of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the Wage and Hour Division announced it has developed a new resource entitled, “Protections for Workers in Construction under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.”
This new resource offers links to detailed information, frequently asked questions, and online training, and provides easy access to information that contractors, contracting agencies, and workers need to know about the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act. It also identifies projects that are subject to Davis-Bacon including airports improvements and water infrastructure SWACCA championed as part of a broader vision for infrastructure beyond traditional road, rail, and transit projects.
