White House Reviewing Final Davis-Bacon Modernization Rule
The White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) announced that it is reviewing the final version of the SWACCA-advocated rulemaking to improve the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts Regulations in specific ways SWACCA has lobbied for since the 2020 elections. SWACCA’s advocacy efforts on this rulemaking included SWACCA participating in three separate comment letters in May 2022 in support of the proposed rule.
The completion of OIRA review is the final step in the regulatory process before a rulemaking is set for publication in the Federal Register.
