SBA Announces Exclusive PPP Loan Application Period for Small Businesses
President Joe Biden announced this afternoon that the Small Business Administration is going to establish a 14-day exclusive Paycheck Protection Program loan application period for businesses and non-profits with less than 20 employees. The two-week period will begin this upcoming Wednesday, February 24. Officials from the Biden Administration indicated that the exclusive loan period is intended to ensure that small businesses are not crowded out by larger firms.
