OSHA Announces NACOSH Meeting to Receive Report from Heat Work Group
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced plans to hold an online meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NACOSH) on January 23, 2023 from 2 to 4PM EST.
The meeting is being held to: (1) receive a report from NACOSH’s Heat Work Group; (2) receive updates about the committee’s membership; and (3) hold a follow-up discussion on the agency’s Whistleblower Protection Program. To join the meeting online, interested individuals must visit the NACOSH website for login information. Comments and requests to speak during the meeting are due by January 3, 2023 and can be submitted here using Docket Number OSHA-2022-0002.
NACOSH advises, consults, and makes recommendations to the Secretary of Labor and the Secretary of Health and Human Services on matters relating to the administration of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970.
