OSHA Issues Reminder Regarding 2021 Illness and Injury Data

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued a reminder to employers that the agency began collecting calendar year 2021 Form 300A illness and injury data on January 2, 2022. Employers must submit Form 300A electronically by today, March 2, 2022.

Electronic submissions are required by establishments with 250 or more employees currently required to keep OSHA injury and illness records, and establishments with 20-249 employees classified in specific industries, including construction, with historically high rates of occupational injuries and illnesses.

Additionally, OSHA also reminded employers that they must post their 2021 Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses (Form 300A) by April 30.
