NLRB Launches New “Know Your Rights” Card Series to Educate Workers on Their Rights under the National Labor Relations Act
National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo announced the launch of a “Know Your Rights” card series to educate workers on their rights under the National Labor Relations Act. The card series is commencing with two new “Know Your Rights” tri-fold cards, which the NLRB is making available in both English and Spanish. One card (available here) provides information on protections for immigrant workers, while the other card (available here) talks about a workers right to request union representation at investigatory interviews, also known as Weingarten rights. The cards are designed to be printed, folded, and used by workers in the workplace. NLRB notes that additional cards in the series will be rolled out this year.
