NLRB General Counsel Issues Memo to Regional Offices Asking for Cases to Overturn More Than a Dozen “Anti-Worker” NLRB Precedents

National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo sent a memo to NLRB Regional Offices asking them to be on the lookout for cases that could be used to overturn more than a dozen NLRB precedents Abruzzo deems “anti-worker.”

Among the targeted precedents mentioned in the memo are rulings denying a “make whole” remedy for an employer’s refusal to bargain in good-faith, imposing burdensome verification duties on unions dealing with Beck objectors, and precedents broadly defining intermittent strikes that are not protected under the National Labor Relations Act.
