House Democrats Unveil Legislation to Reauthorize WIOA
Last night, House Democrats unveiled legislation to reauthorize the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which governs over forty federal job training programs. The House Education and Labor Committee has announced plans to mark-up the legislation on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
Along with the text of the legislation, House Democratic leadership also provided a one-page summary of the bill, as well a more comprehensive section-by-section analysis.
