DOL Updates Guidance on FFCRA Paid Leave

The Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division has updated its FAQs on paid leave under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA).  Among other things, the additional questions (Nos. 80-88) provide guidance concerning how to compute hours for employees who work irregular hours; how to calculate an employee’s regular rate of pay; and clarifying that a stay-at-home or shelter-in-place order is considered a quarantine or isolation order for purposes of the FFCRA so long as it is “the reason [the employee is] unable to perform work (or telework).”
