DOL Extends Comment Period on NPRM to Increase the Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors
Tomorrow, the Department of Labor (DOL) will publish a notice extending the period for submitting comments on the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), “Increasing the Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors” in the Federal Register. DOL originally published the NPRM on July 22, 2021 and subjected it to a comment deadline of August 23, 2021. Per the notice to be published tomorrow, DOL is extending the comment period for four days to August 27, 2021.
Those interested in submitting comments can do so here using RIN 1235-AA41 by 11:59 p.m. ET on August 27, 2021.
