DOL EBSA Announces Retirement Plan Compliance Seminar on August 29 in Los Angeles
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) announced an upcoming seminar entitled, “Getting It Right – Knowing Your Fiduciary Responsibilities” on August 29, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. This retirement plan compliance assistance seminar is intended to help employers: (1) understand their plan and responsibilities; (2) carefully select and monitor service providers; (3) make contributions on time; (4) avoid prohibited transactions; and (5) make appropriate disclosures to plan participants and file annual reports to the government on time.
The seminar will be held on August 29, 2023 from 8:30am to 5pm PDT at the USC Hotel, 3540 South Figureoa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90007. Those interested in attending the seminar must pre-register here through EventBrite by August 25, 2023.
