DOL EBSA Announces Health Benefits Compliance Seminar in Philadelphia from September 12-13, 2023
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) announced an upcoming health benefits compliance seminar from September 12-13, 2023 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The seminar is a partnership between EBSA and the Pennsylvania Insurance Department to provide practical information, helpful tips, and important clarifications regarding state and federal health benefits laws. Topics to be covered during the seminar include COBRA continuation coverage, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and recent changes to federal law. The seminar is free, however, interested individuals must pre-register on a first come, first served basis.
The seminar will be held on September 12-13, 2023 from 8:30am to 4:45pm ET and 8:30am to 12:15pm, respectively at The Franklin Institute, 222 North 20th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
