DOL Announces Safe + Sound Week Beginning August 15
The Department of Labor (DOL) announced it will hold Safe + Sound Week 2022 from August 15—21, 2022. Safe + Sound Week provides an opportunity to highlight employer efforts to integrate and improve their safety and heath management systems. DOL notes that the week provides an opportunity to highlight these efforts and engage more with business that want to improve worker safety and health and discuss the importance of identifying and managing workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness to improve sustainability.
