Biden Administration Announces Temporary Agency Heads as Senate Considers Cabinet Nominees

The Biden Administration has announced a list of officials who will temporarily lead federal agencies as the Senate continues to consider and confirm Biden’s slate of Cabinet nominees over the next several weeks. Of particular interest to SWACCA, President Biden has appointed Al Stewart to temporarily lead the Department of Labor.

The additional officials appointed by President Biden include:

-Andy Baukol to lead the Department of the Treasury
-David Norquist to lead the Department of Defense
-Norris Cochran to lead the Department of Health and Human Services
-Monty Wilkinson to lead the Department of Justice
-David Pekoske to lead the Department of Homeland Security
-David Huizenga to lead the Department of Energy
-Dan Smith to lead the Department of State
-Lora Shiao to lead the Office of the Director of National Intelligence
-Katy Kale to lead the General Services Administration
-Steve Jurczyk to lead the National Aeronautic and Space Administration
-Ann Eilers to lead the National Endowment for the Arts
-Adam Wolfson to lead the National Endowment for the Humanities
-Rob Fairweather to lead the Office of Management and Budget
-Regina LaBelle to lead the Office of National Drug Control Policy
-Kathy McGettigan to lead the Office of Personnel Management
-Tami Perriello to lead the Small Business Administration
-Andrew Saul to lead the Social Security Administration
-Gloria Steele to lead the U.S. Agency for International Development
