WHD Solicits Feedback on Davis-Bacon
During the Biden transition, SWACCA urged the Administration and the Labor Department to improve the Davis-Bacon process through regulatory action. In the Spring of 2021, the Wage and Hour Division (WHD) launched the Davis-Bacon Initiative (DBI21) to engage in a holistic and comprehensive review of the Davis-Bacon program. DBI21’s objectives are to modernize Davis-Bacon and Related Act regulations, improve the survey process and participation, publish accessible wage determinations, increase effective outreach and training, and conduct full and fair enforcement of the law.
As part of these efforts, WHD is soliciting feedback from stakeholders on what individuals think is currently working with the Davis-Bacon program and what needs to be improved. Feedback can be shared with WHD by emailing DBfeedback@dol.gov.
