SWACCA Submits Letter of Support for the Nomination of Jessica Looman to Lead the Wage and Hour Division
This morning, SWACCA submitted a letter of support to Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee leadership regarding President Joe Biden’s nomination of Jessica Looman to be Administrator of the Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD).
In its letter of support, SWACCA noted that during Ms. Looman’s tenure at WHD, she has always demonstrated an even-handed and open approach to all stakeholders on issues under her purview. In particular, SWACCA’s letter highlighted that Ms. Looman has been a strong advocate for the rule of law and a level playing field for businesses, like SWACCA members, that seek to do things the right way.
