SBA to Hold Briefing with DOL Officials on Proposed Rule on National Apprenticeship System Enhancements on February 16
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced a virtual roundtable on February 16, 2024 from 1pm to 3pm ET on the Department of Labor’s (DOL) Apprenticeship Modernization Rule.
The agenda for the roundtable will include introductory remarks and a high-level briefing on the proposed rule from 1-1:30pm ET with Janis Reyes, the Assistant Chief Counsel for the SBA’s Office of Advocacy, John Ladd the Administrator of DOL’s Office of Apprenticeship (OA), Andrew Ridgeway, the Division Director of National System Building at DOL’s OA, and Manny Lamarre, a Senior Advisor at DOL. After the briefing, from 1:30 to 3:30pm ET, the agency will listen to small business concerns.
