OSHA Announces Safe + Sound Week 2023 from August 7-13, 2023
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced it will hold “Safe + Sound Week” on August 7—13, 2023. Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event for workplaces to recognize and improve their safety and health programs. Safe + Sound Week 2023 will provide resources for employers on mental health and well-being, in addition to resources on physical hazards. More resources will be added to the Safe + Sound webpage here as the week approaches.
As part of Safe + Sound Week 2023, OSHA is also encouraging businesses to pledge their commitment to workplace safety and health by taking the Safe + Sound pledge here. The pledge states: “I pledge to make safety a core workplace value. Everyone has the right to a safe and healthy workplace, and I will work to ensure everyone goes home safe and sound every day. My workplace will be taking action to improve our safety and health program during Safe + Sound Week 2023.”
