EEOC to Host Virtual Workshop on LGBTQ+ Rights in the Workplace

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced an upcoming LGBTQ+ employment law workshop on August 15, 2023 with EEOC Vice Chair Jocelyn Samuels, Attorney and Legal Scholar Pamela Karlan, Gerald Bostock, the lead plaintiff in Bostock v. Clayton County, and EEOC Legal Counsel Carol Miaskoff.

The workshop will focus on the impact of the Bostock decision on LGBTQ+ rights in the workplace and what employers need to know in light of the decision. The workshop will also include a review of the most interesting and important decisions issued by the courts in the last few years and their implications for employers from EEOC Legal Counsel Carol Miaskoff.

The workshop will be held virtually on August 15, 2023 from 2pm to 4:10pm ET. Those interested in participating in the workshop must register here and pay a $145.00 per person registration fee.
