DOL Declines to Extend Independent Contractor Proposed Rule Comment Deadline
In response to a letter from House Education and Labor Committee Chairman Bobby Scott (D-VA), the Department of Labor (DOL) declined to extend the 30-day comment window associated with DOL’s independent contractor proposed rule.
In the letter, DOL said the Department has determined that 30 days is a sufficient time period for the public to submit comments.
