DOL Announces Agenda for Prevailing Wage Seminars in February, May, and August
The Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division announced Prevailing Wage Seminars on February 27, May 15, and August 29, 2024, from 11am to 5:30pm each day. The agenda for each meeting includes discussion on: (1) Davis-Bacon coverage issues; (2) Davis-Bacon wage determinations and conformances; (3) President Biden’s Executive Order 14063 on the “Use of Project Labor Agreements” on which SWACCA has been engaged for more than two years; (4) President Biden’s Executive Order 13706, “Establishing Paid Sick Leave for Federal Contractors; (5) Apprenticeship Requirements; (6) Price Adjustments; (7) Davis-Bacon certified payrolls; and (8) Davis-Bacon Act compliance on General Service Administration schedule contracts.
