WHD to Publish Davis-Bacon Modernization Rule on August 23
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division’s (WHD) final rule to update Davis-Bacon will publish in the Federal Register on August 23, 2023. The final rule includes several important provisions that will become applicable 60 days after the rule is published in the Federal Register, including provisions regarding changes to the wage determination methodology. Provisions of this final rule will apply to contracts entered into 60 days after publication of the rule.
