WHD to Hold Webinars on SWACCA-Supported Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship Requirements in the Inflation Reduction Act
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division announced two upcoming educational webinars on the SWACCA-supported prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements for the clean energy and building decarbonization tax credits that were included in the Inflation Reduction Act. In order to receive these increased tax incentives, taxpayers must meet certain prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements for facilities where construction begins on or after January 29, 2023.
The webinars will be held on December 14 and December 15, 2022, from 1pm to 2:30pm each day. Registration for the webinars is required and can be completed here for the December 14 meeting and here for the December 15 meeting.
