IRS Announces Tax Relief for Individuals and Businesses in Ohio Affected by Recent Tornadoes in the State

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced tax relief for individuals and businesses in Ohio that were affected by tornadoes that began on March 14, 2024. The tax relief postpones various tax filing and payment deadlines that occurred from March 14, 2024 through September 3, 2024.

As a result, affected individuals and small businesses will have until September 3, 2024, to file returns and to pay taxes that were originally due during this time period. A full list of the postponed tax filing and payment deadlines are included in the IRS press release here.
