EBSA to Hold Three-Part Webinar to Discuss Employers’ Fiduciary Responsibilities Under ERISA
The Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) announced a three-day webinar series entitled, “Getting It Right – Know Your Fiduciary Responsibilities,” on March 21, 23, and 29, 2023 from 2:00PM to 3:30PM ET each day.
These webinars will provide information on how the fiduciary responsibility provisions of ERISA apply to employer-sponsored retirement and health plans and provide information on how to avoid common problems in managing such plans, including selecting and monitoring service providers, making timely contributions, providing appropriate disclosures to plan participants, filing annual reports, and avoiding prohibited transactions.
