DOL and FHWA to Hold “Women in Construction” Webinar on March 21, 2023
The Department of Labor’s (DOL) Women’s Bureau and the Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) announced a “Women in Construction” webinar on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 1:30pm to 3:00pm ET.
The webinar will feature Chrisy Currier, the Co-Chair of Strategic Workforce Development at the FHWA, discussing the agency’s efforts to develop new resources and innovative strategies to identify, train, place, and retain women in the construction workforce. She will be joined by Leah Rambo, the Deputy Director of DOL’s Women’s Bureau, who will discuss the agency’s programs and the policies and standards that safeguard the interests of working women.
