WHD Provides Additional Compliance Assistance for Employers with Federal Contracts
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) has just published additional guidance for federal construction contractors performing work subject to the Davis-Bacon Act and the Service Contract Act. The new guidance explains when fringe benefits required under Davis-Bacon and the Service Contract Act must include fringe benefits for paid sick leave or expanded family and medical leave under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA).
