U.S. Department of Labor Guidance on Paid Leave under the FFCRA
Today the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division issued a press release informing the public of all the Division’s recently issued guidance explaining paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). The guidance includes a Field Assistance Bulletin describing WHD’s 30-day non-enforcement policy. The guidance announced today augments information WHD published Tuesday, including a Fact Sheet for Employees, a Fact Sheet for Employers and a Questions and Answers document.
