SBA Releases Updated Data Regarding Second Round of PPP funding
On Sunday, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) released updated data for the second round of PPP funding. This new data shows that the average loan size in the second round of PPP funds through May 1 dropped to $79,000 from $206,000 in the first round. Of note, just over half of the $320 billion authorized for the program’s second round have been processed so far.
