Judge Approves Temporary Delay of Paycheck Protection Program Loan Disclosure Ruling

A federal judge in Washington, DC has granted a temporary delay of his ruling last week that the Small Business Administration (SBA) must release detailed information about the businesses that received loans from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program, including the names and addresses of the recipients and the exact amount of each loan they received over $150,000.

Judge James Boasberg said today that he was temporarily delaying his order to allow the U.S. Department of Justice time to decide whether it will appeal his ruling to the D.C. Circuit.
